| Description | I bought an 1985 1510 and trans fluid was white, bad, I'm in the process of changing it, I'm seeing stuff on dipstick length differences (prior 1983ish) gets the > 9in + dipstick n newer ones supposedly should be 7-1/8 long, also amount of hyd fluid seeing 18, 19qts, also saw 6.875 gals, all I know for sure is 5 gals using the 9in dipstick Isn't or barely shows up on the stick.
I found these annotations in the parts manual: SBA398400310 - Dipstick, 2WD, 9.13'' Measured from Underneath Cap; (Prod Date) Between 01-Jan-1983 and 28-Feb-1983.
