| Transmission | |
| Type | mechanical shuttle |
| Gears | 8 forward and reverse |
| Gear configuration | Four gears (1-4) in two ranges (Low-High) with left-hand reverser lever. Gears shifted with right-hand gear shift on the console. Ranges shifted with left-hand lever beside seat. Shuttle shifting is synchronized, using the clutch and at low engine RPMs. Tractor must be stopped to shift ranges. The transmission may be equipped with a dual-stage clutch. This can be identified if the PTO shift has 1000 RPMs on the left, and 540 RPMs on the right. |
| Speeds | |
| Tires / reverse speeds | With 12.4-24 rear tires. Reverse speeds are about 10% slower than forward. |

| Notes | Kubota Glide Shift (GST) allows for on-the-go shifting without using the clutch. Transmission should be shifted one gear at a time using the left-hand gear lever. Forward-reverse shuttle shifting may be done without the clutch. |
